This is the role for you who is driven and wants to help shape the Rescue Service's training center. With us at RUC, you will have the chance to contribute to the development and training of municipal rescue services. At RUC, we conduct training in the form of GRIB, part-time firefighters, various exercise activities, and more. We also collaborate with the Police and the Armed Forces.
You will work in a stimulating environment with varied tasks, where you will have the opportunity to work practically with educational activities as an Instructor. As a natural part of your role, professional development will be central, and you will also have the opportunity to further develop/train within the Rescue Service's operations.

Job Responsibilities
As a Fire Instructor, you will work at our training field RUC to plan and conduct training within the Rescue Service's area of responsibility. Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring that our training maintains high quality with satisfied participants. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Rescue Service's exercise unit and assist with exercises for both full-time and part-time staff. With us, you will combine social benefit with pedagogical development and become part of a team that wants to be at the forefront.
About the Role
- Plan and conduct training in fire safety and security for various target groups.
- Create engagement and learning in classrooms, on training fields, and digitally.
- Contribute to the development of new training materials, exercises, and pedagogical tools.
- Be a team player who reflects on your own role and shares experiences with colleagues.
You will be responsible for striving forward and coming up with new ideas.
Qualifications
To succeed in the role of Fire Instructor, you are passionate about standing in front of people and developing new methods, materials, and training objects.
We are looking for someone who has:
- GRIB and/or SMO or other experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Experience in practically and theoretically teaching or leading training in front of a group.
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Driver's license B.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Instructor training related to the rescue service, such as CPR, Hot Work, etc.
- Comfortable standing in front of people.
- Innovative; you want to try new ways to educate, with both materials and methods.
- Reflective; you take feedback and develop both yourself and the organization.
- Collaborative; you build relationships and contribute to team spirit.
As a person, you are pedagogically inclined and enjoy sharing knowledge. You take initiative in social contexts and find it easy to create new relationships. You have an interest in the Rescue Service, where you keep yourself informed and updated in the field. Furthermore, you are accommodating in your approach and have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. You have good communication skills and can adapt your communication to the audience.
